Constant uncomfortably warm air from vents when ACC sent on 58F and outside temp is cool. Max A/C is weaker then before, presumably because of hot air input? Recent work includes replacing ignition switch in center conslole by my indy mechanic and replacement of ECU with Speedparts version by me (r/r glove box a few times in the process). Warm vent air began sometime around those changes but I can't be certain of the exact start date.

Today, I took out the glove box again, along with the side panels in both footwells that expose the sides of the center console, and I didn't see any heater control flaps (I was hoping I would see one obviously stuck open or something). I also recalibrated the ACC. No effect. Temp gauge pegged on 9:00pm when warm. Car is not overheating.

I understand there are no actual water valves (as in older cars) that could be stuck open, just some kind of flaps that close around the heater core (replaced last year) when no heat os called for by ACC.

Ideas?
