I tried to go that route but I found that they did not match in colour / brightness. I guess I could have replaced all the bulbs to be the same and i would still be saving oggles of money but I wanted it to be a correct match. i just cant get over how expensive things can be at the parts counter. (they really do have you by the balls in most cases.)

Just a bit pissed since a day earlier I fixed my AC leak (in ten min) that the dealer said would be $200-300 for $5 with an o-ring. Still had to buy that o-ring from Saab for $5 rather than the hardware store for 10¢.

Got the refill R-134 from WalMart for $10. Total cost = $15 vs. $200-300 and blows ice cold!!!

But then you look back and that total AC fix still cost less than one light bulb.

Arrrhhhh!!!! </rant>
