I installed a "Starla" brand flex pipe on my car to replace existing leaky pipe. The location of the expansion joint in Starla design is further away from the Cat than the one (I think Bosal) replaced. I am observing that the new pipe is banging against the car bottom over bumps. The old one did not do that even when leaking (broken). Has somebody else had problems with flex pipe being "too" flexible and allowing too much motion? Is there something wrong in my installation?
On Parts Bin online catalog, the two designs (Starla and Bosal) are shown and they are clearly different.
