But it had almost 100,000 miles on it and was getting alittle tired inside. She needed something newer and nicer for her real estate business, so after test-driving a couple of late model S70s and the new S60 (too cramped) and the S80 (too big), she came back to the fold last summer - leased an '02 9-5 Linear. It made our sixth Saab in 22 years. Hers is fabulous and trouble-free so far. Much smoother and better handling than my '96 900SE (even with konis, poly bushings, SAS bar, stage II ecu, etc). If my 900SE was written off by an SUV, like Dean's was, I'd go for a 9-5 Aero in a NY minute.
My 20-yr-old son is relegated to a '95 Saturn SL2 with 114,000 miles. Truth be told, once I had the A/T overhauled, it's been bulletproof for the last 20k miles and 3 years.
