Hi all,
I'm quite excited about this Saab (1997 900 SE Turbo). I loved this car from the first sight and 5 hours later It was mine. I promise you all to post the pictures here as soon as I take delivery of it. Tomorrow, the car goes into the dealership garage for safety and emission .....
The mileage on this car was appealing at only 54000 km. Everything about this car is pretty especially the ride.
so here comes my only question. I noticed that the boost needle did not hold steady relative to the throttle but would rather fall back (still in the yellow zone) despite a steady foot on the throttle pedal. when at idle, the needle is in the white zone (where it should be) but it's nervous. My other car (Saab 9000 sold and out this wednesday) does not do that, the boost is strong and the turbo needle doesn't fall back unless I ease off the gas pedal. What can that be ?
Oh yeah, I only bought the car with the condition the above is dealt with to my satisfaction. I'm asking your opinion as I'm thinking either a leaky diaphragm in the hooter valve or a split vaccum line from the valve to the exhaust. The car has had every scheduled maintenance on time since new.
waiting your comments.
Thanks.
