Total Fustration. Help Needed!! Posted by Ken [Email] |
96 900SET 120K. I have had this bucking (Hesitation, sputtering) at very low RPM in all gears especially in 1st and 2nd. I am not getting any Codes and have checked or replaced the following: Vacume Lines, Fuel Filter, PCV, Boost Valve, AIC, DI, Plugs, Coolant Temp Sensor (the one in the intake), ECU, O2 Sensor (Rear had bad reading, and the throttle linkage. Nothing has fixed yet. It seems like the problem is minimized when the ECU is reset, but when the car sits for a period of time it shows right back up. It is not very excessive but enough to drive you nuts in stop and go traffic. The Saab dealer and another Saab specialist cannot diagnos. In fact he has stated it may be in the tranny, and the tranny shop said theres no way its the tranny (I agree) but took it in because thats the level of my frustration. I saw a service bulletin on the Oring between the resenator and the trottle body stating it will cause air to bypass the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Would this only occur at Low RPM? Also there is a two wire sensor that screws directly into the throttle body, what is the purpose of this ssensor? Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks.
