Ladies and Gentelmen,
I had bought myself a beautiful 1997 NG900 with 54,000 Kilometers only.
The car is immaculate inside and out and I'm just getting familiar with
all of its features, its handling and performance. I can proudly say that I've never enjoyed driving any other car that much ever before. I've had a GTI, 318i, and a 9000. This thing handles and corners with commanding confidence and stability. She's riding Falkens Z rated tires. My cousin who drives a 99 323i was astonished by the performance exhibited by the 900 and that's still a stock car. Today, on my way to work I smocked a > 2000 prelude SH who appeared in mint condition with big tires and shiny exhaust, bla bla bla. This guy pulls up next to me at the red light and starts revving the engine high and loud. But when it came time for the real show, the only thing I had for him is sympathy. I smocked him in first gear by a car's length, Second gear and I could see him in the back mirror, 3rd gear he was so far behind I decided to slow down and let him pass. My Shift points were in the red line (oil changed yesterday !!)
People, be proud you drive a Saab not because of that little story but because of everything else only us Saabers know about.
Cheers.
