I have had the same problem with mine. i initially got it replaced in August. it is not in the shop for the 3rd time replacing an $8 plastic sort of snap. for whatever reason it continues to break. it makes me wonder if maybe they havn't put in the upgraded linkage and therefore something isn't working right? I honestly haven't had my car for more than a month and a half in the last 3 months because it has been in the shop 3 times for that linkage issue and once because sor of unrelated, i had to replace the clutch. I am not sure that i have a hole lot of insight for you, but completely simpathize. the best thing i could come up with is either the shop is bullying me around or somehow the linkage is being torqued too much. good luck i will keep you updated and do likewise.
