Shop says one cylinder has "zero compression" and is probably due to a burnt valve. Otherwise the car runs great with a new Master Cylinder and Head Gasket put in two weeks ago. Since the head was off then I find it crippling to have this problem that would require the head to come BACK off again. He said the car is in good shape otherwise (I just meant that it LOOKS bad-dings and things) and I can probably get out of the shop with a new valve for $1200.

I have four options the way I see it:
1.)Drive it as is til it dies in rural bumblef---- in the middle of the night.
2.) Pay $1200 and drive it til it dies in rural bumblef---
3.) Dump in on a dealer as a trade and tell them it needs a tune up
4.) Move to rural bumble--- so at least when it dies I'll be close to home.

Which would you take?
