Try posting on the classic 900 board instead. Locate the cooling fan switch in left upper corner of radiator. Unplug the two wires and put a jumper wire between them. Turn on ignition. If the cooling fans start, you have a bad switch.
But it could also be a whole bunch of other small things that stops the fans from coming on.
Do a search on the classic 900 board about the topic.
