i had 9 of the 10 bolts off today. i have been using a 12 point 13mm socket every time i had the head off and it has been perfect until now. when i got to the 10th bolt, it slipped and stripped the edges. i went through the whole process. i took a 12mm and pounded it on, but that eventually slipped. went to sears and bought a bolt and stud remover which cuts into the head in order to loosen it. failure again. so i brought out the drill. got about half way through the head of the bolt. will finish it up on tuesday. has anyone experienced this? im sure there is a much more efficient key to use for the head bolt, but until now, i didnt find it necessary.
also, after i do get the head off, will pressure washing the head thoroughly be sufficient to get all the metal shavings out?
thanks in advance
matthew
