I'm having a problem with the cruise control on my '95 900SEv6. The first time after starting the car I'm able to set the cruise. But after it is disengaged it won't set again. If I turn the switch off/on a dozen or so times I can sometimes set the cruise again.

I have tried using the Townsend cruise control diagnosis check list (http://68.222.77.193/electrical_system_folder/ng900cruisedia.htm), but I get stuck at step 3. I slide the switch all the way to the right (tip?) and start the car, but the cruise light doesn't come on... What am I doing wrong?
