Thanks Jim . . . I'm actually a proud resident of DC, born and raised, just having taken a four year "vacation" for college out here in sunny, though chilly Northern California. Really can't wait to get back.
I'll be driving my '99 I-6 9-5 (Silver/Charcoal) until this summer at which time I'll need to decide between a an Aero sedan or wagon (a truly excruciating decision!). Not really impressed with the redesign, but it's no doubt the best thing on the market.
I love the sound of your SPG . . . my >>>DREAM<<< would be to get a mint black or "Edwardian Grey" '91 SPG with grey finished Super Aero Wheels (in place of an '02 Aero), but I've never driven a used car, and don't have a sense of the reliability in something that old. I adore the classic 900's forward tilting bonnet, the truly erect windshield, the perfect fit of the Super Aero's on a Saab that size, and generally the fact that it was the car that "made" Saab. I'm just not sure if my parents would "permit" me to drive something that would need extensive maintenance, or something having anything short of a full array of airbags. Any thoughts?
