Last evening we closed the pre-registration activites for Carlisle
2002. We are pleased to announce that we now have 81 SAABs confirmed for the event. The entries we received yesterday, which were not included in the first overnight delivery package, will be overnighted to Carlisle
Productions later today. At this point, we have a short list of expected
entries, who CPSC pre-paid prior to receiving their applications, and to
insure that they met the deadline. Any entries received today and later,
which were not on this list, will be returned to the sender with a letter of explanation as Carlisle has closed their pre-registration period.
Please continue to inform SAAB enthusiasts about the event and that
they can still attend the show, but at the regular price of $20 payable at
the gate. Anyone planning to attend, who is not pre-registered and on our
list, should let us know so that we can properly prepare for the buffet
lunch and for accomodations for the Saturday evening dinner. An itinerary is being prepared, along with a list of FAQs, which will go out to everyone
next week.
Continue to send questions my way, and I'll be happy to answer them. Garry Grimes and I will be running the tour route this Saturday, to verify all the landmarks or other changes to be made, and will be checking out possible restaurants for the Saturday evening dinner. We are going to need a big parking lot, from the looks of it! Also, if there are any
vendors/dealers who need to be added to our prize listing, please pass them
along.
