Yeah, it had a cliff-hanger ending, but so did the book. I read all three books before they made the first movie, so at least I have that background. You need to at least see the first movie to set up the second - they didn't really give any background in the second. Guess they just assumed that everyone saw the first. Better yet, read the books, then it will all make a lot more sense. Second move was far better than the first, hopefully the last two (they're splitting book three into two movies) will keep up the momentum of the second.
