Pic below after I had it done -- very nice -- $350. I also replaced the mesh. New mesh is $110. You could remove the mesh, strip it, prime it (which Saab did not do), and repaint for about $8. Thats pretty easy, but getting the mesh off is tricky. It was easy for me since I took the whole bumper off for a repaint.

Well its been 6 months and now I have a few new scrapes (despite my anal concern when parking) and now you can see the white primer under the paint. It really is a worthless cause. I am convinced it scrapes as I am driving up inclines since I am way too careful parking.

What I do now is clean the area and use one of those color match waxes down below and it blends it pretty well -- well enough for an area that unless you get down on your knees and look isn't obvious. I would never use the color match wax anywhere else on the car. I can't remember what brand I use -- I would have to look at home, but it matches the Lightening blue well enough.
