Thanks for the tip... the black carpet is actually IN the 911! Perhaps you figured that. The 911 is coming along nicely. My Porsche Indy is doing some stuff to it right now, so I'll put the 'where it's at' where it's going to be when it comes back, some time in the next week:
Bursch headers & megaphones - no heat, but the heat was useless anyway
The megaphones are loud, but I won't know exactly how loud until I hear them on my car. I decided not to do this myself, because I didn't want to risk messing up a head stud in removing the old heat exchangers. Saving $300 vs. risking God knows what, I decided to let him do it.
23MM master cylinder with the stock aluminum calipers in front, I really should have done SS lines while the system was bled, but I didn't get them ordered in time.
Full Carrera oil cooler in the front fender.
16" Fuchs in place of the 15". The good thing is, 15" are now worth more than 16"!
Coming soon: (either in the garage, or in the mail!)
H4 Headlights with chrome trim rings
Turbo tie rods, Racing tensioners (not hydrailic Carrera ones), Factory Short shift kit and rebuilt linkage/bushings.
I've got an MSD ignition ready to go on, but my Indy has a twin plug at a good price that he will hold for me until I want to buy it, and the car is already set up for twin plug, so I may just put the MSD stuff up for sale again.
I don't remember if I told you about when my garage was broken into and the damage the guy did to the car? :( Damage to the driver's door, both front fenders, hood, bumper, and one headlight trim ring. I will probably bite the bullet and paint the whole car, but I do have some rust in the rockers, which I am considering redoing myself, then sending the car to be painted... Otherwise, I will have the guy do it when he is painting the car $$$.
I recently picked up a nice set of perfect black Lloyds mats for it, which is why I was looking to dye the remainder of the carpet, which really is not that much, area wise! I also have a roll bar waiting to go in, but that definitely won't happen until the winter! I hear you on the little things - they take as long on any project as the big things.
Now I should get going, I was hoping to get some stuff done to the 9000 today!
