Fantastic Advice and Results: Thanks Detailers!

Just wanted to thank the detailing board for all the great advice and for introducing me to a different level of DIY detailing. After coming to the Saab Network for years, this summer I finally linked to this group. Wish I would have done that much earlier.
My 10 year old 900s has lived the last 7 years outside in MN with weekly wand-style washes and bi-yearly waxing. Whether it needed it or not. I kept it clean, I would say cleaner that most but not as clean as some, and I enjoyed doing it, but I'm the type to get every dent fixed. The finish has some trouble spots but the car would still get "nice car" comments from people who were unfamiliar with the make.
In August I clayed, Klasse AIO'd and Klasse SG'd. Treated all trim with Back-to-Black. Used a Mother's polish/wax on the wheels. After 4 months of this treatment and an uncharacteristic 7500 miles driving through the dusty back roads of Wyoming and 3 or more weekly trips to Colorado ski areas (think "de-ice-road-treatment-slurry-bath") the car still looks new, provided you don't hone in on some of the trouble spots. It will catch your eye a block away. It stands out in crowded parking lot. It's truly amazing.
I'm currently not working, doing the ski-bum thing for a while (it's never too late!) but when I'm turning an income again, I'll be checking out a Porter Cable, a better supply of micro towels, a number of products, and maybe attend to the door dings and odd scratches on my hood.
To anyone browsing this board wondering if it is worth it: it is worth it, man is it worth it.
