I recommend 'Poor Boy's Trim Restorer' on the dash, rubber and plastic trim and painted black trim. It does a great job, is quick & easy to use and has a UV absorber in it. I first used it after reading about it on this board - the post said it will remove white wax buildup on rubber and trim which it does very well... the rubber spoiler on my '86 SPG had wax stains and Poor Boy's removed the staining and restored the appearance of the spoiler to almost new looking condition ( not bad considering the car is 20 years old).
Any painted surface should be waxed to protect the paint. When I bought my SPG in '86, the salesman told me that the ground effects molding was plastic and didn't need waxing. He apparently didn't know that much about SAABs I guess because the molding is painted plastic and needs the same kind of care as any painted surface.
If you google "Poor Boy's Trim", you'll find several online retailers selling it. It costs a little more than something like Armorall but is well worth it - it does a much better job and lasts longer.
