Why don't you buff it out with 3m compound and a lambs wool pad on a high speed buffer.1000 rpm's will take out all the scratches. Then use a blue foam pad to really shine her up.You could then finish her off with a white foam pad but it probably won't be necessary.I got a Dewalt 0-3000 rpm buffer.NOT ORIBITAL.
The trick now is what to dry the car with so as not to scratch it up again.
I painted my '93 Aero and buffed her out,and I buffed out my '95 Aero and they are both scratchless. Now I'm afraid to wash and towel dry because I'm afraid I will leave scratches.I'd be interested in hearing what guys use to dry after a wash. Both cars are black.I always used cotton towels to dry with but I think even they would be too rough. If you do buff her out make sure you get a surface prep to remove everything down to paint.Good luck
