Glaze is like makeup for car paint. It's mostly fillers and oils with no real cleaning ability. Instead of removing swirls, light scratches, and light oxidation, it just fills in and hides the defects. Glaze has no protective ability so you need a wax on top of it.
If you don't have paint detailing clay, consider getting some. If you rub your hand lightly over the paint you'll prolly feel some roughness. That's surface contaminents sitting atop your paint which should be removed prior to glaze/wax. See recent posts here about claying, its gets talked about frequently.
One Grand Blitz is a great wax but it does have a reputation for staining plastic trim. Consider masking off the black rub strips or any textured plastic trim before waxing. If you get Blitz on that trim, you'll hate yourself because its a bitch to remove.
And remember, very thin coats of wax. Too thick and you'll find it tough to remove. I also find its easier to remove the wax within a couple minutes of application. Letting the wax harden on the surface makes for difficult removal with some carnaubas.
Happy detailing!!
