I have been fighting with this for years myself, first with my '03 9-5 Aero and now with my '06 9-3 Aero. I bought some Wheel Wax from my Saab dealer after reading the claims that it repels brake. It does NOT. I used to use regular car wax which makes cleaning much easier, this stuff is no better than car wax. I should have saved my $12 (for a small jar.) As Paul de K mentioned, I think ceramic pads is the only real solution.
