These days I change the oil myself, but I used to go to quickie lube type places upon occasion. My fav was Valvoline as you drove your own car in and out. I overheard this conversation from the pit.
tech1: This here is a tur-bo type car, it's good to pre-fill the filter.
tech2: Huh?
tech1: Like this, you fill up the filter before you put it on.
tech2: Huh?
I believe this is the same time the guy couldn't figure out how to screw on the fill cap. They also always overfilled my engine and had to drain some no mater what I told them as their computer said 5 quarts. Sigh.
