the reason you see lots of foreign parts sellers on the 'net using the same catalog is because many of them are WorldPac resellers. First, you set up a "store front," then WorldPac ports their search/database/ordering system to your site. it's transparent. then, when a customer orders, the parts are picked/shipped from the closest warehouse directly to the customer; a cut goes to WorldPac, the rest to the reseller.
the reseller can determine retail prices. also, i have found that identical parts listed under saab and, say, vw, can have different retail prices (at least at one site i go to); i try to search with the bosch number to circumvent this.
the nice thing about ordering from WorldPac resellers is you have access to a HUGE supply of parts, there are usually photos to accompany them, and they are drop-shipped from close to the customer, so getting them is quick.
personally, i use eeuroparts, importpartsspec.com, and scanwest for parts. i like eeuroparts' free shipping and prices, but, frankly, their site usability and search features are lousy, worse than most i've used. the first clue is the *instructions* on how to look up parts. if your UI is so non-intuitive that you have to explicitly state how to use it, then you have major problems. (as an example, try finding a turbo bypass valve for an '89 900t). i don't know if eeuroparts tracks customers' attempts to find stuff, but i find it too much trouble sometimes. i have also had recent email correspondence go unanswered, which is unacceptable to me as a customer who has spent hundreds of dollars there and recommended them dozens of times in saabnet posts.
what i mean to say is that they have good prices but could use some improvement. i still continue to patronize them.
