a 330i can be had for high 30's, if you watch the options list.
or a loaded 325 for mid 30's. They aren't really that expensive, when you think about it. Even a 5 can be had for under 40K, keeping light on the options.
I think Saab would do itself a service by, over the next three years, gradually lowering their msrp to reflect the always-available rebates. The cars would fare better in comparisons.
I was shocked, to be honest, at the 38K dollar sticker for a Vector.
I have a Linear, sport package, launch package, touring package etc. everything but automatic. Sticker was 32K, transacton price was closer to 28K. As a buyer, without any information on rebates, I would not consider a 38K dollar Vector. Lots of folks look around here on Sundays, since dealers are closed, and look at the sticker. they would walk right by a 38k dollar Vector.
IMO, a loaded Linear is a better value than a Vector. Somewhat because you would be hard pressed to find a stripped Vector.
