Grassroots Motorsports had a lengthy article on the Saab 99 in their November 2002 issue. GRM just bought British Car and has turned it into "Classic Motorsports" featuring antique restoration and vintage motorsports.
Car and Driver and Road and Track I believe are owned by the same organization. Yes the articles are similar. R/T has Peter Egan which I read monthly at the bookstore, otherwise I have a subscription to Car and Driver which has more tests in it. Historically, R/T has been more Saab friendly. I have some early issues from the 80s where they just gush over the C900, and gave it tons of awards.
