Why isn't Saab marketing the crap out of this. Yeah yeah, whine whine... but.. Volvo is where it is today due to their safteyrecord, but more important, their safety advertising.
Here we are with the 9-5.. if it isn;t the safest car on the road, it is damn near the safest. Safety sells. Why isn't Saab pummeling the market... for the 9-5, I would think this would be the lead into all their advertising... sure its a bit of a borrow from Volvo, but it isn;t as if safety hasn't been the #1 design criteria for Saab since the 60's?
Why is it that Saab seems so unable to capatalize on features that seem to be made to create marketing campaigns out of?? The 9-5 had been in production for 4+ years? One of the first pictures I saw was the head on offset crash... it still is a powerful image. From day one the 9-5 has been a leader in saftey features and real world crash safety.. it is almost as if there is a secrect pact with v*lv* that Saab can't sell safety and a deal with BWM that they can;t sell performance... :)
