OK, I would like to point out a couple of facts... Not opinion, FACTS.
1) You said: "If Saab wants to sell more cars, then they should look back to what they were doing in the late 80's when they sold more than they knew how to sell."
FACT... Saab had a brief period of time in the 80's when they were "trendy". This was before the Japanese luxury divisions (Lexus, Infiniti, Acura) existed. Life was good. And then the Japanese ate Saab's lunch because the Swedes didn't react fast enough with a product that was competitive, cost effective, and most importantly, RELIABLE. Heck, even the Germans had to change rapidly in order to keep up!
2) You said: "I actually called and complained about the Find Your Own Road junk"
FACT... That "Find Your Own Road" ad campaign was one of the most successful that Saab has EVER done. Why? Because it was strikingly DIFFERENT. Nobody else ever did anything like it... This campaign raised the awareness of Saab to a new level. Seriously!
