SOme times the GC will look like that after a TTT especially with the close prolouge times.
I too am looking for a little more competition for hte GC. I believe Ulrich hmay have understated his fitness. I must say I like Armstrong, but good competition is needed.
looking back a few years I saw Armstrong first hand coming back onto form after his cancer...at the Cascade Classic in Oregon. Inspirational yes, a bit demoralising for me and my teammates...yes...as he began to show his past greatness even at that time.
I wish he would do the Worlds up here in Hamilton, ON, as it is a hellish course this year, fit for a very strong all around rider....unlike worlds in the past. If he doesn't do it, I guess the only other NA rider capable to win solo in Hamilton maybe be Tyler Hamilton, in similar fashion to Liege back in hte spring. Similar course.
