Good friend of mine owns 2002 A4. I guess I could call him my "Audi pardner" (if I didn't have a more sophisticated sense of humor of course).
Anyway we took their A4 out when we went to visit a vintage sports car show. Gotta say that Audi is an impressive vehicle. Not sure reliability is all that great, but likely comparable to Saab. Interior design and materials are truly world class. Their car has the sport seat option so the buckets are extremely firm and well bolstered (but I still prefer the Viggen seats). The A4's balance of ride comfort and handling is commendable and road/wind noise are very low. Lacks the rush of a Saab turbo (2.8L 30V V6), but response is smooth. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the personality of a Saab. Just sharing a recent experience in a brand x car.
