hey STICK! Oregon has been around since about 1973 and have released 30 albums (if you count their solo work). All membes are accomplished soloists... it is unfortunate that you will now never see Colin Walcott, their original drummer/percussion player, as he was killed in an auto accident in Germany in 84 or 85. A real original and sorely missed. Many older recordings can be found at used record stores, but Amazon has a good selection of their work on CD. The Moscow sessions are not truly indicative of their work; to get a better idea look for the older Vanguard recordings.

That should get you started and, while the oboe isn't a traditional jazz instrument, neither is Oregon traditional anything... they started the world music genre and please don't even begin to think that Paul sounds *anything* like Kenny G!
