..pet dogs they sell on TV. I can see it driving up to you in your yard and doing a 4wheel drive spinout on command. "What's that Jeepie? Timmy fell in the well? You can use your winch to pull him out." ( :
I wonder how well it treads off road though. If it had exceptional 4x4 ratings, and looked a little more bold, as that's the image most commonly sought after in the 4x4 market, it may sell a few.
That part about the sliding steering column is awesome! If you get tired, your buddy could drive... on the fly. Maybe that would cause some 'I want to drive' fights. That might be quite interesting. Definatly an extremely innovative idea.
I don't get this comment...
"This concept car features certain traditional Jeep styling cues like the seven-bar grille"
Designers/car reviewers see a single trait shared by other models under the make and say it fits right in. They could have made that flat right there and you'd never know who made it. Slap on some M3 side vents and it's a BMW, or even the SAAB style grille and it would be a SAAB. I totally disagree with that. It doesn't need to necessarily fit in with the make, but they shouldn't say it does.
Kind of looks like a concept car the department I'm in at my college built (savannah college of art and design) scad.edu -- it might be on there FWIW
oh well, interesting little buggy,
take care!
