The most frustrating task I have in my Saab 9-5 is trying to tune the radio to a specific frequency, like 89.7 FM. The dang "seek" style of tuning is horrible. I have to press down 'seek' until it becomes manual tuning (counter-intuitive to say the least), then race to tune down to that station before the manual mode is reset to seek. Arrggg!!!!
My old blaupunkt had a tuning knob. I just twirled it until I got to the station. If I wanted to seek, I hit "seek". Very intuitive. Very quick. Satisfying.
Anyway, it looks like Volvo is providing a real tuning knob. Good idea!
