and my total premiums have increased by over 30%! I know insurance rates were going up steeply, but this seems excessive.
What really annoys me is that I have 4 cars but only 2 drivers. Two of the cars are just insured for liability and two are fully covered. Now it makes sense to me that since there are only 2 drivers we should not have to pay additional liability insurance for cars 3 and 4 since we can each only drive one car at one time. Does anybody know if there are insurance companies that give you a break on liability insurance for additional vehicles? I'm sure I've seen mention of this for insuring classic cars but not sure about regular cars.
Failing that - recommendations for reasonably priced companies that won't shaft me if I need to make a claim? I am currently with CNA who were OK with the one claim we made and have been very competitively priced until now.
