Yep! I've had them for at least 4 or 5 years. I got them when my previous company dropped me for having 2 tickets in a year (Westfield Insurance). Progressive was WAY cheaper. Prices went down when I got married, and at some point after age 25 or so.
As for claims, I've had 2 and they were professional and quick. 1 was a case of me hitting my wife's car. Don't ask. :) I crunched my Dodge Neon into the rear of my wife's Corolla. Neon damage $3600. Corolla $0. Go figure.
2nd claim, aforementioned Corolla was stolen from my driveway. Lesson learned, don't have a rack of keys in the kitchen. When/if your house is broken into, the keys are in the open, and the car is in the open... You get the idea. Too easy to steal.
For the past few years I'd get a quote for paying by the half, with a nice discount to pay the year in full. So I pay in full.
Latest big bonus: Pay the year in full 2 months before moving from Cleveland to California. They honor the payment to cover the next 10 months of living in CA. I'm sure it'll get cranked up next summer, though.
Cheers
Randy
