PCV is for crankcase fumes, not gasoline, so I doubt it's that. The PCV system would smell like hot oily air - like if you opened the oil cap right after turning off the engine.
I'd look for leaking fittings at fuel filter, FPR, or injectors. Also EVAP canister & it's valves & hoses.
