Hi

I live in Portland and work in Beaverton. I'm admitttedly a neighborhood snob and I dislike Beaverton itself because it is a neverending morass of strip malls, stop lights, and traffic jams. That said, the Portland area overall is great, I've lived here since 1996 and I love it. I live in SW Portland near Gabriel Park and Multnomah Village. It's a great part of town, a short drive to work in Beaverton, close to downtown as well as all types of shopping, movies, etc.


There is a Northwest Saab Owners Club which serves WA, OR, and ID. A fairly active club, though more of the activities are in WA than in OR (those of us in OR aren't big into event planning, I guess). Email me when you're moving if you want to. I'm actually interested to see a car with 300,000 miles on it like yours. I'm nearly halfway there.
