AC Belt Alignment Issue

OK, here's the background for this issue with my 1990 9KT (2.0L).
-Replaced A/C compressor at dealer
-After five months the AC belt tensioner pulley "peeled" (literally, the flange peeled from the rest of the pulley) and the belt was thrown.
-Had the pulley replaced (at the dealer) and a new belt installed
-After about three months it threw the belt again
-had my indy look at it, he says (and I agree) that the crank pulley, AC clutch, and tensioner pulley are not in alignment.
-Original dealer insists that the compressor is correct for the car. After checking part numbers, I agree.
-I will say the the new compressor clutch as two belt notches. Proper alignment with the tensioner pulley looks like it would be the ridge between the two nothces.
Any suggestions about what could be going on? Right now I am running without the AC belt. This is not an issue in December, but want to get it working before summer.
