breakdown on the highway story

Several days ago I was on my way to Milwaukee from Madison, WI for a business meeting. Ten miles short of my destination my 92’ 9kS quit. It was late on a Friday morning and I guessed if the failure was serious I would not be able to get it repaired until Monday. A Waukesha County snow plow stopped who contacted the County Sheriff for assistance. A Deputy arrived within minutes and contacted a towing company. I asked the towing company to take the car to the nearest authorized Bosch Service shop which happened to be about 20 miles. In the meantime the Deputy dropped my off at the location of my meeting. It was now early afternoon and the car was delivered to Mraz Import Automotive in Brookfield, WI. Mike Mraz, knowing my situation, shifted a couple other cars scheduled to get mine in immediately. He diagnosed the problem as a dead fuel pump and was able to get a new one delivered and installed in less than 3 hours. I was back on the road heading home and one very happy customer!
