When the pigeons invaded the hangar, we got a pest control company to come in. They used something called 'Hotfoot', a chemical you spread on the beams. After they stepped on it, they would drop later to be picked up and disposed of.
Someone else used to soak corn in whisky for a couple of days, dry it out and spread it for the pigeons to eat. I think he used to cook those.
