I have Colorado too (made the bet before Selanne and Kariya were traded too!) but that one only pays $100. They are first in their division. I also picked the flyers with a payout of $120 and they are first in their division. Oh, and I also bet on Toronto for a payout of $120 and they are ALSO first in their division (I picked three teams from each conference - if none of them win, I'm out $60.).
Oh and the other two picks?
Calgary pays $1000 and they are third in their conference behind only Colorado and Vancouver... They weren't supposed to even make the playoffs but I knew better... Couldn't resist that one..
And then who can resist the most expensive salary in the league. I had to lay down some cash on the Rangers since it pays $250. Thankfully they picked up Jaromir Jagr.
If I win, I win at least $40 and at most $960. If I lose, I kiss my $60 bye bye... there was nothing else but tennis to bet on when I was in Vegas last summer (and I lost all my tennis bets ;-)).
This is a hockey thread, right?
