I also recall some transmissions in GM/Ford cars also do something similar as the auto gear shifter may not be put in P correctly and when the car is jiggled, it could slip into D.
Now given the large number of Camry and variants out there, it would be interesting to see how many of these are real and not due to driver error. I can see law firms lining up to do a class action suite against Toyota, it doesn't get any better than this for ambulance chasers.
