I check my true speed VS indicated speed with a stop watch on the highway where there are white 'T' markers for aircraft speed markings. Those are very accurate. You will find that at a constant speed you will get the times per mile that are very close together. You can be very accurate with a stop watch as those times will attest.
My 03 Aero speedo reads 2.5mph fast with the Primacy performance tires. And my snow tires give me 4mph fast.
The newer speedo's are not analog, but are steping motor controlled. I have the same speedo error at 75mph and 35mph. So its a constant error with that speedo.
