I have received countless fake cashier's checks from overseas. I always go along with these guys like I'm going to fall for their scheme. I let them go through the trouble of contacting me, keeping up-to-date on correspondence, and sending me the cashier's check. Then I cease all communication and report them to the appropriate authorities. If nothing else ever comes of these, I at least know that I wasted their time and spent a little of their money getting the cashier check shipped to me. I've gotten quite a collection of these fake cashier's checks over the past few years, although it has been several months since I've last received one. Maybe my name is getting through the scam community that I don't take the bait...suits me just fine. Be careful out there. Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
