'Certified' Wrnt y Question: Buying My Car Off Lease!

So I'm buying my 02' 9-5 a year before my lease is up. Am really plaesed with the car, the buy out price is reasonable, and am looking forward to driving this for a lot of years to come. (Have spent the last few weeks going through different options and even after test driving some other late model used cars--Lexus, Acura, Audi, BMW) am pleased enough with my 9-5 to think it is still a great deal and will be a good long haul car. (Also, did you see Intellichoice from Edmunds.com rated the 9-5 the lowest ownership cost car for the Luxury segment. Wow.)
Anyway, MY QUESTION is whether I should have the dealer 'certify' my car as a Saab Certified car and pay the extra money--maybe about $1250--for what amounts to an extra 2 years of warranty. (am only at 26k right now on miles so will never reach the 100k mark before the certified warranty is up; so only two year) The saabusa.com website says that this additional time may not include all of the same warranty items as the 4 year/50k New Warranty. Anyone know what is not included????
Also, is this $1250 a good deal? (I'm estimating the price. The retail for this is about $1500 but I think they'll go down some).
Also, how much can the dealer save me by buying my car at their dealer?? In toher words, the payoff amount supposedly has a margin that the dealer will profit from when I buy my car. (I have to buy it at a dealer,e ven though the payoff is at Saab Financial).
Thanks everyone!
Jon
