Kid seats are no biggie. The seats in RVs have seat belts, so just strap the kid seat down. Make sure it fits well in the spot where you can get at the kid easily, though.

|We did this after our kids were out of kid seats and it was a great week on the coast of Maine. Get ready for 9 mpg, though.

Most rental places won't let you tow a car, so going out to dinner means taking the RV with you. A bit of a pain. The again, having a bathroom and kitchen at a remote beach was nice!

Bring some tools. Have some 12" long 2x12 boards to help level the thing in campsites. Sleeping on a slope is no fun. Ask me how I know!

Get all the insurance. You don't want to pay for anything.
Find out about pump out sites near the return spot, as you usually have to do the pump out and return the holding tank empty. Be sure to get the biodegradable toilet paper. Regular stuff doesn't work as well and you DO NOT want to plug stuff up.

Plan your route, don't rush and enjoy yourself.
