Not nearly as severe/extreme... A couple of months ago, there was an individual who threw several large dogs off a busy overpass. Needless to say, the dogs did not survive, but I don't believe there were any injuries as far as humans are concerned. I also read a story a few weeks ago about a young man taking his neighbor's small dog (about 14 years old and worth approximately $1,500, if I remember correctly) and drop-kicking it like a football. The dog did not survive then, either. As far as human tragedies, there really hasn't been much in the news around here about anything like that lately. Regardless, the story you cited did not surprise me, which is a very saddening thing. When the law doesn't hold people fully accountable for their actions, things like this happen. Inconsistency within the government and justice system is our worst enemy. Be careful out there. Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
