Hello, all. First and foremost, I apologize for catching your attention with the subject line and then proceeding with a not-so-interesting question. At least it worked. :-) Anyway, I'm looking to purchase a hood edge protection strip and wanted a little feedback from anyone who has bought one or currently uses one. The best source I have found thus-far is The Saab Catalog ($38.00). The strip has an adhesive backing...how durable is this and how easy is it to apply/install? What type of material is the strip made of? Also, my Saab has a very small chip in the paint and the strip will be placed over it. Will this cause any potential rust or other problems in the future? Finally, is there another source for this accessory that I have somehow missed? Please feel free to post a response with any questions, comments, input, feedback, or suggestions. Thanks in advance, as any and all help is greatly appreciated. Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
