Hey everyone,
Why will some dealers help and some just look to squeze me for every penny iv'e got. I recently bought a NG900 for my brother, and when the engine light came on i though i could just swing over to the local dealer and have them pull a code. No dice. The responce i got from the manager was "can't do it i have to have a tech pull it in and look at it," charging a fee of course. I pelitely said, "ok no thanks." To which i got an eye roll and a very condisending "geeze sorry." This was in Maine. Now the dealer i delt with in Vermont when i lived there was so much better. The manager came running right out with the tech 2 when i had a cel come on for a few min in my 9-3. The light wasn't even on any more and the guy said "lets go have a look right now." What is the deal?
Pissed me off enough that i won't go back to the dealer in maine.
Ok rant over.
Anyone else had this happen? Alright back to working on my '73 96, no deales involved,ha!
Mike
