DSL for a month now, coming from RoadRunner x3yr in two different states. Frankly fed up w/ cable - had frequent outages (about 1x every 1-2months, invariably when had office work to do); customer support spotty e.g. "must be your computer" out of the blue and then after hours telephone w/ MS support and $30 fees later RoadRunner says, oops, it was us afterall; 4 service calls/2yrs and 4svc calls/1yr each require me to take off work or at best waste a 4hr window waiting for them on a day off (ridiculous, then try this as a medicine resident). Each time for a connection they themselves did wrong or actually broke once when closed the little 'box' lid outside. Granted they will spot you a free month service if you complain loud enough, but am so sick of wasting my time. All that, and tests show am only getting around 300-500bps anyway. So far DSL fine, assured don't have to be home to have svc done, and just as fast best can tell on PC. Fingers crossed :0)
